This Is my childhood piano. Currently it resides at a family friend's house in Salt Lake City.

It's also the first piano I ever tuned back in 2011.

Starting piano lessons at age 8, I would have never imagined that this musical instrument would be the catalyst to my entire livelihood as an adult.

It's nothing special; in fact, it's a fairly underwhelming piano. But today, as I considered the countless hours of practice, method books, arguments with my Mom, prepping for recitals, and using it to help me learn the art of piano tuning, I had many sentimental thoughts and feelings of gratitude today as I tuned it, nearly 15 years later.

The discipline, patience, and persistence this piano has helped me develop are attributes that have bless me every day.

I just had a client reach out to me and said they lost their wallet inside their piano 😂 So, I figured I'd do some sort of tutorial so you don't have to pay a technician every time. Whether it be a pencil, stickers, batteries, food, a violin bow, etc, every piano owner should know how to remove the fallboard from their piano.

If you have a Steinway, let me know, and I'll post another video. The method of removing the fallboard on a Steinway is a little different.

Other than marrying @eliza.adelaide, serving a mission was THE best decision I have made in my short 31 years on this earth.

After being back for 10 years now, I can attribute every single blessing I currently enjoy to my mission. From my marriage, career, major in school, hobbies, passions/interests, it all came from serving the Lord for two years in that beautiful country.

Not a day goes by where I don't think about being called to serve in Indonesia. I am eternally grateful for my experiences there.
